Here’s something you need to do before you die, maybe even now.
Tickets for the best Pilot Fire event go on sale soon, and this year it’s going to be a little bigger, deeper, and more exciting even than last year. I’ll be announcing a special deal next week to people on the First Alerts list.

Speaking of death, so many of you sent me to Candy Chang’s TED talk, it became clear I should pass it back to the rest of you. Candy, like I do, loves to ask people what they want to do before they die. She built a public art piece I plan to replicate in San Francisco. (Let me know if you want to help.) Her talk carries a simple message, often overlooked, about our time and connection to each other. I’ve been following her for years, and finally I got to hear her talk on the subject. You can, too!
Get the Goggles
If you want to think some more about death (and who doesn’t?), the pilot goggles let you ask for help at the same time. There are 3 pair back from circulation to Tunisia, Russia, and Denver, ready for new eyes to train, and futures to tell. Grab a pair and let your dreams be known. Get the goggles here.
I leave you with words from from Candy Chang’s talk. It’s about what it’s like to witness people who let their dreams be known.
“It’s about knowing you’re not alone. It’s about understanding (each other) in new and enlightening ways … and understanding what matters most. Life is breif and tender. Death is something we are often discouraged to talk about or even think about … Preparing for death is one of the most empowering things you can do. Thinking about death clarifies your life.”
I couldn’t agree more.
