Thank you for joining us!
Welcome. This is the page where you get the latest information on the Great Year Workshop on January 24, 2014.
Time and place
On Saturday, January 24, we’ll meet at 8:45 at the San Francisco Institute of Possibility. The address is 3359 Cesar Chaves, near Mission Street. Here’s a map.
Parking
Please take BART if you can. The 24th Street stop is just 3 blocks from here.
If you need to drive, parking shouldn’t be too much of a problem. DO NOT park in the lot next to the building. The people who live there are mean and they tow and they yell and it’s awful. Two blocks away on Folsom past Cesar Chavez by Precita Park usually has spots. If it’s tight, just drive up Folsom and you’ll find a spot. There is also a paid lot on Mission 30 feet from Cesar Chavez to the south. It’s like $10 to park there all day. I think you can also park at the Hospital on Cesar Chavez and Valencia.
Here’s a picture of the door. Neat, huh?
If you want to do a little prep, read these Small Steps to Start Wrapping up Last Year. It’ll help you get in the mood.
Tell your friends
There are a few spots left, and if you bring a friend who pays the regular price, I’ll take $100 off your fee. Great people lead to great people, and this event is so good, more great people will make it even better.
So please, click here and Share the link.
Also, RSVP to this Facebook event and invite people right away.
Do you know anyone who is recently divorced. The wrapper to this event is just for them. Send them here, please: Reinvention After Divorce.
What to bring
- A notebook and something to write with
- Comfortable clothes
- Something warm to wear (It can get a little nippy in that space.)
- A treat to share if you are moved to
- A leprechaun (I’ve never actually seen one so thanks.)
Food
I’m going to provide water, coffee, tea makings, a few nibbles, and a full lunch. One of the main courses is vegetarian. Only a little meat will be put out. If you have special dietary needs, please bring your own.
We will be making reservations for dinner at a local restaurant for those who want to keep connecting and eat at the same time. Let us know if you want to join us.
Lodging
If you want to sleepover onsite there are a couple rooms with nice beds, and for $20 a night you can use one. Let me know.
